Scored a working MB Widebody $70.00
« on: May 24, 2008, 09:46:32 pm »
Everything works except the previous owner removed the monitor after breaking the neck tube.

I have a spare working 19" Wells Gardner K4625 that I can put in it. Will it work as a replacement for the MB Sanyo monitor without any modifications? Do I need an inverter or some kind of converter or adapter?

Thanks guys...I'll get a thread with pics up over on the Main forum.

Sanyo EZ takes 100V, while a K4600 takes 110.

Thanks Peale. Anyone know of a solution or workaround to get the 110V to a WG K4600 in this scenario?

...other than buying a Sanyo 20EZ?  ;D

Replace the isolation transformer.

Thanks Peale...

One more thing....since I'm not using a Sanyo EZ, does that mean I don't need an video inverter? Not sure if the MB game had that issue like the DK, DK Jr. does?

The video inverter is usually *on* the Sanyo EZ.  You should be good to go once you replace that iso.

That's a total STEAL deal ! Congrats. We want piccies !

Peale, if the video inverter is ON the Sanyo, shouldn't one be added "on/between" the WG ?
If the MB PCB set sends it out inverted, it will arrive inverted at the Sanyo that inverts is, but the WG won't, so you'll get an inverted picture right ? Or am I missing something ?

Oh yeah...forgot about MB.  Does it output inverted signal?
