How to force V-Sync with ArcadeVGA?
« on: May 22, 2008, 09:43:23 am »
Anyone knows how to force V-Sync with an ArcadeVGA?

I've looked in the Ati Control Panel, but there are only 2 options for V-Sync: "Always off" and "Application preference".

I think that "Ati Tray Tools" has the option I'm looking for, but I don't know if it works with the ArcadeVGA.

Any suggestion?

Thx

Jimbo

Hi

Not sure about how to force it, but if its for mame you might want to leave it set to application preference and let mame manage it per game using the triplebuffer/syncrefresh settings.  That's what I do... many games do not look good at all with v-sync on.

Thx for your answer.

Mame and many other emulators run fine with emulator "built in" V-Sync option.

The problem is with some other emulators that doesn't have the "activate v-sync" option.
