Anyone try Asteroids in version 125?
« on: May 18, 2008, 08:50:54 pm »
Anyone try Asteroids in version 125 yet? Shots and thrust sounds are whack, and the UFO has no sound. I had version 123 previously, and it worked fine then. I tried it on another pc, same thing. I see they made some changes to the DIP settings in version 124, but I wouldn't think this is DIP switch setting related. Anyone else have this issue?

Havoc,
Yes.  This regressed in 0.124u1 and is already acknowledged/reported at MAMETesters.

Ok, thanks. I was wondering if I had a bad rom, or if my compile was somehow screwed up. Thanks for the confirmation, and the link!

*Edit *

Strange - Asteroids Deluxe seems to be fine. I would think they would have similar hardware, but apparently not...
