Daphne, but that's about it.

  • Yeah, owning a MAME cab only leads to owning real ones. MAME just isn't good enough. It's a gateway drug.

Just MAME for me. I use a different computer hooked up to my tv to play all my other emulators.

"Atari Jaguar - Virtual Jaguar"

How does this run?  Does it run many titles?  How about the CD games?

Virtual Jaguar runs ok, with a decent rig.  I keep going back and forth between it and Mess for Jaguar emulation, but honestly, I dont play it that much.  Its there to keep my Atari collection complete.

I notice slow down in Super Turbo in mame from time to time, though my 3.2ghz core 2 duo can obviously keep up, so I figured its just emulating the hardware correctly.  My only other issue is that it seems difficult to do moves upon releasing buttons, which is a feature in the original.

If you have the horsepower for Mame, what advantage do you see for using Final Burn Alpha?

Does Virtual Jaguar and Mess have joystick/gamepad control for the games or do you have to use a keyboard?  Thanks.

I dont use a joystick, so I dont know for certain, but Mess's input scheme should be identical to Mame as far as what you can map and what you cant.  Which would mean it would support joysticks/gamepads.

Or you can always use Xpadder if not.

Great.  I'll have to check it out.  Thanks.
