Ledblinky how to make Admin buttons always lit?

I can figure out how to make my player control buttons and coin.start buttons stay always lit if I wanted. I there a way to keep my admin buttons always lit? (enter, esc, etc.)

Why not just hard wire the power to them?

Use the profile editor (for mame) and set the intensity and "Always Active" option for the UI controls (UI_SELECT, UI_CANCEL, UI_PAUSE, UI_CONFIGURE, etc).

That did it.

I could do the same for "other emus" but I think I  will do that in the controls_emu  config file since I can not pause all the emulators and would not want the button lit for those.
