Arcade vga card
« on: May 11, 2008, 10:06:35 pm »
Hey guys, iv recently bought the arcade vga card for my pc as i am using an arcade monitor with my mame project. I have installed the card very quick swop around with my old card. What do i need to do next to utilise the card with my arcade games? do i need to install some software to get all the right resolutions on the games?

youki

You need to install arcadeVGA driver if you didn't do yet.

You need to use tools like  AVRES (can be found on ultimarc site) to generate INI files for your mames Games.

You need a FrontEnd to be able to select game and run it.

it is here :

http://www.ultimarc.com/avres.zip

on that page :

http://www.ultimarc.com/avgainst.html

in the "Auto-Resolution Utilties." paragrah.

I think it is similar to mamewah resolution tool  as this paragraph talk also about it.

But i used AVRES in my case.
