CPV2 help needed

I am using it with Mamewah front end. Everything works great except that it displays "THIS GAME'S CONTROLS AREN'T DOCUMENTED" for most of the MAME games. I generated xml file and pointed to it thru CPV2 file setup utility.  What am I missing? Thanks.

I should add that when used from the command line i.e. cpv2.exe -r=frogger, it works fine
