That is rather crazy. There seems to be a lot of that sort of mark up going on at eBay...

It is an ebay store item. Ebay store items only have 3 cent listing fees, so it doesn't really cost anything to fish for people who REALLY WANT some obscure item. Notice it has the "make offer" link. The seller's game is to list it really high, and hope he gets a decent offer.
