LCD computer monitor in a Jamma cabinet?

Is it possible to hack a computer LCD monitor to put in a Jamma Cabinet? Of course it is vise versa, but has anyone accomplished this task?
If you did how did it turn out?

Hey there, that is a good and easy way to get your self an arcade monitor...    in theory.

The problem will be finding an LCD monitor that support CGA resolutions, which most do not.

Hmmm, that sucks. No one has ever successfully created a "converter" or hack to convert a computer monitor to accept CGA resolutions?

Do not jump the gun.... I have been testing LCD's for months and part of the process is that NVD has the ability to reprogram the A/D for other frequencies.

We will be there in the next 4 weeks ... already oor 26"and 32" wide screen (16X9) takes everthing we throw at it other sizes are only a lttle behind.

When tube makers stop making them in then next few years, they're going to gradually dry up. VisionPro and Kortek both have a line of arcade LCD's, but I don't think they're not offering anything above 19" yet. IT's new Golden Tee and Sliver Strike Bowling machines have large LCD's.

LCD's will keep getting better and CRTs will keep getting rarer, I think.

Well, it's not like it's expensive to design games and boards that run at vga...is it? As for older machines, I can't see them existing that long on location. Or, again, just use a mini-atx.
