I can't wait to start tearing into this! Does anyone know how I can attach a 4-player CP to this cabinet?

Sorry if I missed a joke somewhere, but the Space invaders cab seems like a bad cab attach to a 4-player CP
If you are not going to tear out the monitor, mirror, bezel, etc., then the display seems like it would not be great for 4-players to crowd around.
If you are going to tear out its guts you may have to build so much into it that it may be better for you to start from scratch, or start with a 4-player cabinet.  Also, it in the picture, it looks as though it isn't so far from restoration, so you-know-who might kill a kitten.

If you send me the moon, the space scenery cardboard, the game PCB-set, the bezel, the coindoor and the CP I might be able to justify that you will Mame a classic like that.

But in all fairness, MAME-ing a classic......please don't.

i think its a great idea. make sure to put rope lights on top of the t molding and a traffic light on top of the cab. staple a 37 inch widescreen to the front for the sidescrollers...

DONT do it.  I mame'd this same exact cabinet and now I am trying to restore the cab back to original.

Get the machine working, get a multi-space kit and build a MAME from scratch.

This is one of the WORST cabs to try to make into a 4 player.

The easiest way to get a 4 player CP on this is to cut down into the cabinet itself.

Form a "box" CP.  Self enclosed.  That way little hands (or even big hands) can't get inside it.
