Does it coin up?

Is it playing blind?

Check your fuses, edge connector.

Make sure the Z80 sync bus is seated.

All the usual stuff!

Okay, I tightened all connections again and it made some funny noises, but then booted right up and was acting perfect.  Then as I was playing it reset a couple of times, and then finally the game cut out altogether.  Now it just flashes a couple game images (pretzel, #%^ signs).  Any ideas what it could be?

Sounds like it might be your Z80 sync bus.

It controls the booting.
