front end help (topic posted --BINGO! Either that, or I was attempting to say "before" but it was too many letters to type--, i know)

I'm trying to find a front end for my arcade cab (btw- i'm still looking for a cab in chesapeake, norfolk, newport news, va beach, hampton area of va)
I can't find a good front end anywhere. I love arcadefx but that won't use the new versions of mame so I can't run all my games. I honestly think arcade os is a piece of crap, but i've seen worse like lazarus which wouldn't even run. I'm kind of lost on what I should use, lol. Arcadefx would be great if someone knew how to use it with the new mame version =(

Respectfully don't expect to get help if you insult the fe developers.  Arcade Os was the ORIGINAL front end and there wouldn't be any others without it.  It may be old looking but it set the standard so show a little bit of respect why don't you.  And if Lazarus wouldn't run for you then you are too dumb to set it up.  The program runs great on any version of windows.  I should know, I wrote the frikkin thing.

now I don't know much about much, but you know what? These guys guys put in alot of hard work making a program, debugging a fixing said program, and GIVING it away to "whiners" like you, who come here pissing and whining about how crappy it is. These guys (all of them that I have asked) have been nothing but generous about helping me to better understand their programs, and certainly such people as howard, pacmanfan, and minwah don't need someone like me to defend them, as their reputations and contributions stand by themselves when it comes to this hobby...I feel compelled to say if you think what they do for you is crap...feel free to write your own FE.

Yea, i thought about what i said last night. I was just frustrated. no disrespect intended, I think I did come off wrong and say things I didn't mean, sorry.
I do know how much work an os takes, but before you start bitching to me to create my own, creating a first person shooter game takes time as well as working on a couple mod teams for games. I understand how much time and thought goes into coding, don't even try to start that with me.

So you are a programmer then? then try emutron is uses a small neat scripting language to get things going...could be the right thing for you...
