quick question....

Is it possible to make this into a side art, and who or what would i go through to do it.

  • Yeah, owning a MAME cab only leads to owning real ones. MAME just isn't good enough. It's a gateway drug.

If you can find a higher resolution version. That won't blow up all that well.
Introducing The Tone Ledger, a premium 5x7 inch, 100 pg notebook designed for guitarists, bassists, keyboardists...pretty much anyone who enjoys using amps and pedals. Great for experienced musicians, hobbyists, or students just getting started.

... and with all the gradients, that would be difficult to vectorize.

I like the idea
As far as using this as side art, you would have to vectorize it. If you want it to come out really good, I recommend finding a print of this and having it scanned at a very high resolution. That background, as HarumaN posted, is going to be difficult to vectorize along with the Godzilla. You will need to separate the image into 2 parts in photoshop and vector your background and Godzilla separately.

Here is a very rough pass in illustrator.

Hello again.
Got bored and came up with a new idea while I was watching tv tonight. The characters behind the text is Godzilla in Japanese:-)

I was going to suggest the Japanese spelling on Gojira. Good work.
