Vectorisation help
«

Can anyone give me some pointers as to how to vectorise part of this image? I would like to recreate something like the white/yellow/orange/red/light blue/dark blue 'border' part.
Seems like it should be quite easy but I am a bit lost in Illustrator...

I find SodiPodi easier to vectorize stuff with... and it's freeware, over at Source Forge. That's just me, though.

The pen tool in Illustrator is probably the tool I use the most. It's very powerful and yet mysterious until you understand the basics. I would look for a tutorial that will give you the basics on the pen tool. That design will be super-easy to create.
I'll give it a go.

Something like this?
Here is an Adobe Illustrator file.
It's version CS3 so let me know if you need a different version, or an EPS or PDF instead.

You're welcome. For the guy who created Mamewah, it's the least I could do.
