Turbo Delphi Bug Fix
« on: April 13, 2008, 09:27:01 am »
Hi,

This is a tip for users of Turbo Delphi (like me) who use it to make tools and plug-ins.

As some of you (eg Arzoo) discovered, the IDE is a bit buggy. You can't complain too much as it's free right?

The bugs were just annoying saying that you are missing files that were present etc but the programs would run fine anyway. Occasionally I got a error that wanted me to re-boot Delphi.

I know there is a Hot Fix avaliable but that did not help much.   :(

Anyway I may have stumbled on a solution:

Download and install trial version of Delphi 2007. Use it as I did for while as it is very nice  :P

Delphi 2007 trail will expire after a set number of days but.....................

The good news for me at least is:

After I did the I had No more problems using Turbo Delphi 2006 :-)   :applaud:

I assume the upgrade updated some common files  :dunno

Let me know if you find this to be true as well   ;D

Good Luck!
