BURNCADE
« on: April 08, 2008, 10:26:14 pm »
My attempt at a custom arcade.  I learned alot from these forums - thanks to all of you that posted details on your build.  More pics when complete.  I used foam board for the dimensional prototype.  The electronics shown is what is left of an old abit P3 board.  6x9 coaxial speakers for sound (maybe a sub soon.

Rest of the pics I have so far are here -- http://picasaweb.google.com/vxagent/arcade

here are a couple of them

Very nice build!! LOVE the idea of using foam board as the prototype   :applaud:

Just one comment: "What, no trackball/spinner?" ... looks like there's plenty of room for them  ;)
So a leper walks into a bar and as he gets his beer, a finger falls off. The bartender who is serving him turns and pukes all over the place. The leper, feeling bad, says, "Was it my finger falling off?" The bartender turns to him and says, "No, it's the guy dipping chips into your back."

Ran out of money on the trackball and spinner.  It will be added later along with LEDs for the pushbuttons.

LCD monitor (19"  Hanns model) will go in soon.  I am working on smoked glass for the front and I have the bezel printed.

Time to work on stuff like this is always an issue - lol
