Sideart - How important ?
« on: April 08, 2008, 09:08:36 pm »
Hi all,

Just reading some other posts and made me wonder, how important is sideart to most people ? If you have one cabinet then I can understand. But if you have a few next to each other I am sure no one will be able to see the sideart (I know in my home arcade it's just the end machines that need it) Most of my machines have it, but there are a few that don't (cause I can't find it)

So, how important is it to you ?

Not at all. I'm so impressed with my paint job, I'm leaving the sides blank  :D

My wife wants to paint the walls around the cab with a mural though; the cab sits caddy-corner, and I think it will frame it really nicely, especially when lit by a blacklight :)
So a leper walks into a bar and as he gets his beer, a finger falls off. The bartender who is serving him turns and pukes all over the place. The leper, feeling bad, says, "Was it my finger falling off?" The bartender turns to him and says, "No, it's the guy dipping chips into your back."

All my machines are dedicated and most of them have the artwork, but I am now thinking that the ones I have in the middle didn't really need it.

It used to be important to me. But after trying to get some done has become next to impossible I'ma keep what I have and move on to the other parts of the machine like joysticks and monitors.  ;)
