Please move this to a more appropriate area if it doesn't belong here...

I have a LEDWiz 32 and the LEDWiz87 software.  The software works for the most part. I can create animations, playthem and save them (.lwa).  But regardless of the method used, I can't get them to load. "open" command from within the software, drag-n-drop, doesn't matter.  I have a dozen .lwa files that I can't use because the software won't load them.

Win XP SP2
mixed RGB and single LED's

Help!

Unfortunately the LumaAura software is a bit buggy (IMO). I found that creating an animation was an exercise in futility. Some time ago I recall Randy (the software Dev) mentioning that he was working on an enhanced animation editor, but I've heard nothing since - hardware is his main focus.

You may want to look at my LED animation editor - its part of the LEDBlinky package. It can import .LWA files, but it only save in the .LWAX format which is supported by LEDBlinky and Headkaze's GameEx plugin. Not sure if that helps you - depends on which FE you use, but I don't think there's any other option for LED animations short of doing them manually Ugh!

Thanks Arzoo. I had read some of the other thread posts about RandyT's efforts with the software, and I had come to the conclusion that it wasn't going to do the job. I don't have any grand plans for the cab, like entering into a custom lighting contest or anything. But finding a way to activate the LEDWiz with the screen saver/attract mode would be nice.

Until now, I have been using MAME32. But I've decided my cab needs something a bit easier on the eyes. O have PowerMame and AtomicFE, but have not yet decided which one I'll go with. Thanks for the info.

PowerMame is dead. AtomicFE is very nice! LEDBlinky does support Atomic via plugin.
Good Luck
