I just checked last night, most times, through Happ or even Divemaster (who otherwise has great deals but is stuck with the Happ shipping) can only do it for around $28 shipping and $15 for the bezel. I wish they could just ship it through USPS, instead of UPS or whatever, which is outrageous.
I'm currently checking out the option of buying it from Happ, then picking it up the next time I'm in Vegas, seeing if they'd waive a shipping charge. I mean, it's only like the difference of half a tank of gas but it's kinda the principle to me. It's lightweight plastic, couldn't be over a pound, so the size is apparently the issue.
In the meantime, I got a piece of 1/4 MDF, just a 2x4 sheet for like $5, cut out the middle, and then I'm adding curved slated to enclose the screen, that attach to the inside opening of the wood border. I traced the bottom of my tv for the general curve, then cut the pattern, attached the flat side to the wood bezel. I'm then going to use wood filler to close any seems, then prime and paint. I'm really happy with it so far though. You might wanna give it a shot, it's only like $5 anyway... a lot better than $43.
Also, the marquee retainer... that's kind of a rip too; at Home Depot (or wherever) you can get 3/4" plastic corner protectors, paint them gloss black, and be good to go, minus shipping. They look great. There's also 1" corner molding which is $1.26 a foot at Home Depot would be have been great except that my speaker panel is 45 degrees, so the bottom retainer needs to flex, but if you don't have an angle, I'd highly recommend these.
