Vertical Mame Madness
« on: May 26, 2003, 01:24:09 pm »
Hi Guys!

Well this weekend has been all about vertical mame for me. I found some really awesome stuff, and I need your help to find something else.

First off-

Nvidia's latest drivers are perfect with all those who have a vertical monitor mounted in a cab. The Detonator 44 drivers are awesome. First off they claim to boost performance 30% compared to all of the other Detonator Drivers. Also you can now rotate the monitor anyway you wish. See that Here :

Which is just perfect for vertical mounted monitors.

Better yet is the large range off cards that these drivers support. From TNT to GeForce 5. You could spend 10 dollars on a card or 400 but still get these awesome benefits. I myself have tried this with a GeForce 2 and GeForce 4 both worked great. On the GeForce 4 I am running dual monitors, the only downside is that I cant run one vertically and one horizontally, it may just be that i have not investigated enough.

Well on to my question, I have one monitor vertically standing, and when i make both monitors vertical it presents it self in the right way. Now are there any apps that would allow me to filter out all the roms which run vertically so I could just pick from them?

Thanks Guys.

Yes, there is a batch file for filtering vertical roms.  I posted a message about it in the software forum weeks ago.  You could probably find it also going through the mameworld news archives.
