crt tube and resistor

hi just discharged teh crt although been off for a week , but after removing the anoid cap ive noticed ive scratched the red circle just under the sucker, is this ok or is the tube wasted, and the 2 long silver resistors  on the neck board have bits of tyhe ceramic nissing from them like chips, and the board a bit dull maby from acessive power cycles, will these need replaced, also noticed a cap in the cage is corroded at top of it, think that needs changed to?

yes you need to more careful when removing the anode cap,the tube is not knackered and one scratch will not cause a problem-just be more careful in future
its not possible to say if a component is faulty just by looking at it(unless its physically snapped in half or completely flamed),you need a multimeter and a capacitance meter to read components.
if you have the time and the money but lack the experience of fault finding then swap out all the components you feel are knackered.
the cap kit situation is straight forward,now you have the chassis out of the cab you can mark down the value of each electrolitic capacitor(the cylindrical ones) as the values are marked on the side of the capacitor and just order locally or use an online shop

ni its something the same, but hasnt got the gold know thing down the left side and the discharge caps are up top right side, its got a few scratches on the red bit  i think a flake has came off it, but the cap still covers the part thats scratched, the scratches are in at the hole, hope its not trashed, dont want to get caps then it doesnt work with the scratches , what will it do iffthe conductive pant is to far gone?.
the monitor chassis is kortek  ktx20, i got the model no from a site that showed pics of them

its a ktn chassis,very standard from the early 1990's
your tube is o.k
you do know there a lot adjustments you can make,there are colour gains on the neck card and colour drives next to the sync switches as well as the contrast/brightness and screen volts

i saw all the adjustment pots but dont know what to adjust , ive not seen the screen lit with a game in it myself,i just got told when i got it that the screen picture was faded not colourfull and dark, so after poking around forums i guessed a kap kit would help since it fixes 95% of probs, im no tv expert and was a bit sceptical about discharging the crt but was reassured that after it beening of for over a week it would be dead, since it has bleed resistors,i just want the ting to work without putting it into a reairshop, maby would help if i had a pcb , but was thinking of jpac(but i would be suck with it if the monitor was goosed) so was thinking of splicing the monior leeds and hooking them up to the pc arcadevga and see what happend, should i go ahead with cap kit of just put it together again and try it with somesort of rgb input

You are looking for problems without knowing they exist,first job is to get a video input onto the monitor-take things from there

i looked on board theres 2 230v 3a fuses that are connected to the ac input the pin second from righ that goes to the fuse then to the a black cap i think (box) silkscreen ref pr601 that is connected to the degause coil,well this fuse is blown, maby thats what has made the picture dull, i dont know if that would affect if,

could make the pic strange colours as its the degauss coil fuse,you would get bad discolouration
fault is likely the be the ptc component(the square box with 3 legs),try the correct value fuse first to see if it blows again

ok will put at all back together and put new fuse in it after i getone from electrical shop and see if it blows, is this part ok to touch after its been on (fuse part), i saw a ls candy on ebay readvertised with 3500-1 game board  and rotatable monitor for buy it now 650  but missed it, i sent that guy u said to ask a pm but heard no reply yet
