what type of 25"-27" display tv or lcd to use with a pc that is affordable

I am thinking of getting a TV or LCD or some type of display that is similiar in size to my NANAO 26" MS8-26SU arcade monitor's display.

could someone in the know suggest a good display for all around gaming I would like to use it with a dreamcast with the vga box if needed and more up to date pc games with higher res's that arcade monitors cannot display correctly.

I would like to play an actual dreamcast with or without the vga box and also a  pc with up to date games on this display but I have not bought a tv or lcd in a long time so I dont even know what to look for anymore lol.

I just want something close to the size of my nanao 26" arcade monitor display area size but something that can display the dreamcast and pc correctly.
