One option is to download a playstation emulation such as ePSXe, then pick up a few secondhand figthers from you local games store for a couple of quid each.

I actually had a few old playstation games lying around (I gave my playstation away a few years back and found so old CDs recently). I have now ripped these onto my PC and play with an emulator.

Tekken 2/3 and soulblade are all 3D and quite good fun.

I like the games for the Zinc emulator like the Street Fighter EX series. Rival schools (another Zinc game) is also good.
