H-Pos Pot - How much movement should i be getting?
« on: March 08, 2008, 06:51:53 pm »
My game is a little 'off to the left', so i went to the monitor board to adjust the H-Pos pot, but i only get a slight movement on part of the pot's full range.

I have not yet tested the pot resistance (with multimeter), just wondering how much movement i should expect.

Any ideas.

It a Nanao/Kaga monitor board (labelled KB240112), with a 19" Mitsubishi tube.

quite possibly component fatigue considering the age of unit . start with lytics and then semiconductors ....
some sets do use a 4.7uF @50v non-polarized cap in sweep return......
