Disassembling Television
« on: March 08, 2008, 11:24:53 am »
Just a quick question before I make a mistake.  I saw a 21" slimfit flatscreen tv today which I might buy for my cabinet.  However, it has speakers on the sides of the screen.  Am I correct in saying that those speakers won't be attached to the tube if I take it out of it's cover?

Same for me. I did one about 2 weeks ago. It had just 2 dinky speakers attached to the plastic front half. Easy to disassemble.

Thanks. Bought a slimfit tv yesterday, will take it apart tonight.

How can I connect the pc to the component input on the tv? Do I need a card with hdtv-out, or do you get something like a vga to component converter?
