If he were sober the kids would be beaten until he got drunk and past out.

He's doing them a favor, this way he's just going to get home(maybe) and pass out.

I would take great pleasure in punching that guy in the face. I've had my share of dealings with drunk drivers while I was a kid.

Last year during baseball season one of my players showed up very upset (and late) but wouldn't tell anyone why.  He just got his glove and went to second base.  15 minutes later someone yelled to him from off field but I didn't hear what it was... the kid ran towards the parking lot at top speed.  His father was face down in handcuffs being carted off for DUI.  Apparently he blew like three times the legal limit.  The worst part is that kids were making fun of this poor kid - I had to send two of his own teammates off the field for it.  I'm surprised he didn't crack someone with a bat he was so furious and confused.
