PC Games Touhou Project

Someone mentioned here Touhou Project as cabinet friendly. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Touhou_Project).  Any idea how to reconfigure buttons assignment?  The options screen is available, but the assignment is grayed out. Is there any way to have a temproary buttons assignment under mamewah for a specific game? I know it is doable for different emulators. Thanks.
