Hi on my cab
i wanted to know if I needed a cap kit for this or just a deguasing?

I shot some video

I found this sticker too this is what it said

Model No. 25K7191

Theres a Sticker on the Tube that Says Zenith

You my friend have what is called "jail bars".  A degaussing will not fix this.

The monitor in this topic didn't have the earth ground connected correctly.

If you would post a picture of your monitor chassis that would be great. 

Also, if a cap kit hasn't been done on this monitor it would be a good idea to do, may want to also change the flyback while you are at it just as preventative maintenance.

Just read that topic i found the ground wires its is connect to the neck card
the soddering job doesn't look that good
i will take some pics tommarow

Okay i have located one on "The Real Bob Roberts" web Page
But i am a little scared to do myself, (fear of being electruted with 20k + volts!)
EDIT : I googled and i think i found someone i will give them a call tommarow
