control panel clasp attaching
« on: February 21, 2008, 04:15:40 pm »
need some help here for i guess one of the saddest questions on this board  :-\
i bought myself one of these variable control panel clasps:http://www.arcadeshop.de/Accessories-Control-Panel-Clasp-variable_367.html.

now i am at the point where i am supposed to use these things to attach my control panel to my cabinet, but i am absolutely not getting how this works, how i am supposed to use these things. well i basicly know i have two metal parts in my hands, thats it  :banghead:

does anyone know a discription online on how to attach these things, or perhaps someone who can explain how this works.

greatly appreciated!

edit: think this should have  been in the main forum. my mistake, sorry.

I haven't used these, but... It looks like you screw the hook on one side, and the clasp on the other. To use, you lift the lever on the clasp, put the D-shaped metal piece over the hook, then snap the lever down to lock everything in place. Looks like you might be able to screw the D-shaped piece in and out to fine-tune the fit.
