Yes some FE's work fine with MAME32, but mainly Windozy ones...I *think* Emulaxian works with MAME32 tho ( )p( ? )
A lot of the non-Windows looking FE's featured on this site do not support MAME32, so it is worth your while grabbing the Windows commandline version from MAME.NET.
I suggest taking a look at
www.mameworld.net/easyemu/ for some beginners help using commandline MAME. Beware tho, I think Windows Commandline MAME is referred to as 'Win32 MAME' in some places on that site - note this is not the same as 'MAME32'.
MAMEWAH does not support MAME32, I'm sure the other FE authors here will confirm if theirs do...
