Memor32 PS2 Memory Card - Anyone have it?
« on: February 14, 2008, 09:56:10 am »
As seen here; http://www.memor32.com/

There's no US distributor yet (and Good Luck with that,) but I'm curious to hear general impressions of the card, and to know if anyone in the States has ordered one from either of the two "official" Canadian options.

I don't need to tell anyone what is possible with this device... lots of space for game saves!

I don't trust 3rd party memory cards one bit.  I've never had anything but bad experiences with them

How does this differ from putting ELF files onto a memory card and using a trigger disc?

You don't need to use a hard drive with the Memor.  It can direct boot discs if you want, or run them from a hard drive or USB hard drive.

Ahh, wasn't paying that close attention.  Thats pretty cool that it lets you slipstream the files to mod a PS2 easily.

I've got mine modded with a 300gb HD with the HDloader exploit.  its pretty awesome.  Especially nice to be able to get a hold of import games that are impossible to find

Do you have any lag issues with the hdd loader? I've got several fat ps2s and a network adapter, but the lens on both are pretty crappy. My swap discs are read only 1 out of 3 attempts, so I'm looking for something different. That white singstar ps2 package is looking mighty tempting....

I actually bought a refurb PS2 from a gamestop that I almost immediately did the HDDloader hack to, so it reads my boot disk (just been using PS1 Rival Schools) every time.

I do however have a PS2 with similar lens problems to yours
