So, does anyone know anything about foosball?
« on: February 10, 2008, 12:45:25 pm »
My friend just moved into a house and these little beauties were left behind. He gave them to me, and to be honest, I have no desire to get a foosball table, so I'm trying to figure out what they are worth before they go to ebay.

I have 13 red dynamo, and 13 blue dynamo. I also have 2 yellow "tornado" men, which look to be weighted special. I would assume these were to be used for goalies? I also have tons of rubber bushings and plastic washers as seen in the pics. All appear to be brand new. Any ideas on this stuff would be great, or, if anyone here is interested.....lets talk.

The tornado guys are worth a few bucks, and the dynamo guys may be worth a little, but it'll be hard to find someone who wants them. Tornado is the table of choice for tournaments.

I'd put'em on ebay as 2 lots. 1 for the tornado guys and the other for all the dynamos. I don't think the bushings are worth anything.

Which lot does the cat go in?

Have you checked ebay to see if any auctions are getting bids on parts like these?

I didnt notice it at first glance.  For some reason this has blended into its environment.

Chad was that supposed to be a star wars quote?

The cats aren't for sale!

I have looked on ebay, and I do see lots of foosball men on there, weird thing is, what appears to be the major seller of these things on ebay lives in my city!

His look like old retro crappier ones - I'll probably post them in two seperate lots as suggested.

I would put them on at no reserve, but then I'm afraid it wouldn't be worth my time, I've NEVER sold anything on ebay before, so I'm not really sure what it's going to cost me to sell....

Your thoughts betray you.

I only said there was one cat.  We know now that there is at least one more.

...damn im trying to remember how that quote went where vader was like "if you cannot be turned then something something leia."

ive never sold anything on ebay either but maybe you should check out their terms on selling first.  I would try and avoid them though.
