I have NE 7 and NY 0 in a football pool, so I'm hoping the Patriots score a touchdown in the first quarter and then no one scores again.  ;D

The giants could very well pull it off, but it is very unlikely.

I gotta say and I'm really happy about it. For the first time for as long as I can remember, the half time show was really great and was very entertaining and enjoyable. Great job getting Tom Petty for the show!!

What's a Super Bowl?  ???
Wish list: Galaga, Pacman, Pooyan, Star Wars cockpit, Gauntlet, Tron

And the Lord spake, saying, 'First shalt thou take out the Holy Pin. Then, shalt thou count to three. No more. No less. Three shalt be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shall be three. Four shalt thou not count, nor either count thou two, excepting that thou then proceed to three.

My mom is not a sports fan, but she'll listen to me talk about it until her ears bleed for some reason, whether I'm right or wrong.

On Friday when we met for lunch, I told her then that all we'd heard ALL week long was Pats this, Pats that, Brady this and that....and I told her flat our New England needed to be careful about looking past Eli and the Giants on Sunday.

Prophetic? I don't know,  but I knew after they took Green Bay out I was going to see this one out.

No two ways about it that was an incredible game and 10 times better than anyone thought it would be.  We were amazed at how quickly 1st and 3rd quarters were over and done with!

Tom Petty's halftime show was just as much fun.  I'd never seen any type of live performance by the guy, but they REALLY impressed me tonight.

The ONLY truly classless moment belongs to the Pats coach.  Say what you will about the game being over, rules are rules, and according to the annoucers the NFL was telling everybody one more play had to be run.  So you be a man,  get your behind back to the sideline and let them run the play.

But no,  the guy decides to be a complete  :censored: and head to the tunnel.  I hope to all get out the NFL fines him.  If not, they should package it and sell it as a "How to be a sore loser, 2008."

One of the best Superbowl games in recent memory.  The officiating was incredibly good and I never even noticed they were there.  That's how it should be refs.  Both teams played back and forth with great drives and great defense when needed.

Then, when the Pats scored and all the obnoxious Pats fans out there started singing "19-0", the G-Men came back and shut them all up.  It was great.   ;D  (And not all Pats fans are obnoxious.  I know one who is very upset about the loss and I feel really bad for her because she puts all her emotions into them.  But many fans I do know of wouldn't shut up about the perfect season which now is not to be.  I can't wait to make them feel like crap.  ;D )
Donkey Kong High Scores:
1): 49,500
2): 35,600
3): 30,100
4): 29,400
5): 28,200

Wow, that was a pretty good game, minus the long boring parts. ;) ;D
Eli Manning sure grew up quick at the end of this season - my hat is off to him. Brady might as well have worn a Giants Jersey, since he had several of them draped on his back all night. He still played like crap even without the sacks and pressures. He couldn't hit the broad side of a barn!

That pass/catch that set up the game winner...wow...just...wow. I still can't believe Eli escaped, and I can't believe that guy held on.

And congrats to my boy Ahmad Bradshaw. Turned out to be a damn brilliant move to go to the draft a year early.

Hey, where's Chad?   >:D

Watching the game with my family.  Away from the inn3rn3ts.

The Giants didn't win, the Patriots lost.  :P

The Giants won.  The Giants outplayed the Patriots on offense and defense.  The game was there for the Pats to win - Moss got wide open on that outside short curl in the end zone from about the 12.  Brady missed that throw so bad not even Randy Moss could get a hand on it.  That is a right pivot drive throw - on a line - the exact type of throw that a QB with an injured drive foot cannot make.  Over the last 3 years Brady makes that throw 10 times out of 10.  If you combine that bit of evidence with the fact that McDaniels called almost zero downfield shots until they were desperate it all points to Brady's inability to make any power throws.  The way to loosen up that pass rush was to throw the ball downfield, probably not completing, to force the safeties back and force the blitzing linebackers to drop into slot coverage where those safeties were.

All respect and credit to the Giants, man.  They were the best team in the postseason.

Given that someone didn't even have the balls to follow through with his pseudo-threat, I'll wager a guess that your dictionary is missing the definition of irony, as well as a proper definition of "foolish".

tommy wouldn't be that clean.  There would be a wet spot underneath him and he'd have beet stains on his face.
