LCD TV, portrait and landscape based on game?
« on: February 01, 2008, 11:50:56 am »
Im looking at maybe doing a build that includes an LCD mounted on the wall for the Display.

My question is, would it be worthwhile to invest in a wall mount that allows me to rotate the display to be either portrait or landscape based on the Mame games original orientation?

Im currently using mamewah, is there a good way to set the output so that it will actually work?  Or would I have to set it one way or another just in windows?

Yes, I have tried MAME32 with a Rotateable LCD Display and adjusted the MAME video settings and it worked great in horizontal or vertical orientation.

Thanks for the reply!

Is there an automated way to do this through mamewah based on the rom selected?  Or maybe I should have custom lists, one with vertical games one with horizontal and try to get it working that way?

Any suggestions?
