Best Drill bits for MDF???

I know this sounds like the sort of thing that would be easy to find on google, but honestly guys, i have spent the last 5 mins looking and cant find a straight answer, so here goes....

What type drill bit is best for MDF? Wood, HSS? anything else to look for (like bit type)? Also what drill speed is best? One of the sites said use fastest drill speed, anyone disagree with this?

For drilling wood, whether man-made or natural, I like brad-point drill bits. They have less tendency to "walk" across the wood before they start drilling and you generally get a cleaner hole. I've been using Lee Valley's "lipped" brad-point bits and been pretty impressed. High-speed steel (HSS) will last longer than high-carbon steel (HCS) or regular steel. Definitely buy high-speed steel if you want the bits to last. If you plan to drill metal, you'll want to get bits with a 135-degree point angle.

Drill speed should vary inversely with the diameter of the drill bit. Large diameter bits should be run at lower RPMs,  small diameter bits run at higher RPMs. You do not want to run a 3" Forstner bit or hole saw at the maximum speed of your drill! You'll generate so much heat that you'll ruin the bit in short order...
