how to fix humbar on lcd screen
« on: January 09, 2008, 04:43:47 pm »
This came up in another topic of mine and figured i would put it in the monitor section. I have a 5.6" LCD I'm using for a jakks pacman bartop. The input for the screen says 11-14 800 MA max. I'm using a variable switch that goes up to 12 v 300 MA. I have a humbar that scrolls up my screen and distorts the picture as it scrolls. What can i do to fix this. I also have another switch that goes up to 12 v 1400 MA that i haven't tried because i was afraid i would fry my screen. And I'm sorta new at all this so explain in lamens. Thanks a bunch.

def need a supply with  higher current capability .  a half amp shy at present .

kinda like trying to start a car with a 9v battery.

finding a 12v 1A supply shouldn't be difficult .... or just build one  ;)
