Does everyone know that a 3D Bionic Commando sequel is on its way?

This isn't exactly breaking news, but it occurs to me that I haven't seen a post about it here. 



It looks like the mechanic might be cool, but there's definitely not enough going on to tell if it's going to be a successful transition to 3D.  I hope it is.  Bionic Commando is one of the greatest games of all time.

I'm ashamed to admit I only played like 5 minutes of the original on my cab.  Now I'm compelled to delve deeper.  The remake looks cool.

Most times when devs try to make a game or movie that already existed in one form or another they always seem to screw it up. Most times when a good game is made it is a new idea and does not have to live up to anything and just somehow turns out well.

I think when a game is being attempted that was already made at one time or another there is pressure on the devs to make the game and it gets effed up. Most times when a new original idea comes along there is no real pressure to make a game for the sake of making a game and the time and effort needed to make it works out just by having good ideas and making the game better because they want to, not because they have to.

No I never actually played the NES version much.  I was talking about the arcade version that I originally played.  I am thinking about revisiting the NES version.   Sorry, should have clarified that.

I had no idea they were making another.

that was a great nes game that was played often I would defiantly like to check out the new one when it gets released.

kinda hard to say if it would be good or not though becuase games just are not like they use to be lol.
