CpWizard questions
« on: December 16, 2007, 10:26:50 pm »
First off this app can run with Mala right?
Ok.. I got this thing working somewhat, but I'm having issues. When I press pause to see these options I can't get out of pause, I basically have to go control->alt->delete to get out.
Could my setup be wrong?
By the way I'm using 1.32.

Thanks

So your saying the CPWizard menu shows okay, but when you select the Exit option from the menu it won't exit back to the game?

Yes, I tried every button and nothing would happen too.
Another thing I thought I read that CPwizard doesnt need to be open for it to work in mame. I tried it with it off and it doesn't work that way.

It needs to be running to work but you can minimize it to the icon tray or have it launch on startup. The default keys are cursor keys to move the selection bar, left control for select and escape to move up a menu.

If you still can't get any input working can you post your CPWizard.ini and CPWizard.log files.

Man I'm so retarded. All I had to do is scroll down some more after IRC and there was exit.  I ended up finding in the controls a tab unchecked that said " back key will exit menu. Once I clicked that it worked the way you said it should. Sorry.

One thing though, I think when you click to close the app it should stay in the active in the task bar.

Good job on the program. :applaud:
