Anybody using Freevo
« on: May 12, 2003, 06:01:23 pm »
Has anbody used this for a cabinet frontend? - http://freevo.sourceforge.net/

This guy added it to his xbox that he installed in his car - http://www.target-earth.net/xbox/

Seems like a nice all-in-one frontend for Movies, Music, and MAME...

If anybody has gotten MAME, and other emulators running please let me know how easy/hard it was.

Thanks,

-Valiam

From what I hear it takes a saint, a priest and a rabbai to actually get this thing installed and working properly.  Of course it's a linux app, so that's about par for the couse.

Well then, I guess I am a saint, a rabbi, and a priest.  I had freevo running, but it sucks.  It isn't as good as myth in features.  Hmm, I don't remember an emulator option for it.  MythTV does though.

It's the emulator portion of it is was referring to.  Not very friendly from what I heard.
