Gorf Joystick question
« on: December 13, 2007, 05:46:28 pm »
I'm trying to figure out what I need to take the joystick apart.  According the the manual, it mentions a 1/8 tamper proof allen key.  Problem is I can't seem to locate one online (or at Lowes).

Anyone know what/where would work to take the screws out?

Got a Harbor Freight near you?

Perfect.  I'm heading there tonight.  Thanks for the info.

Picked up the full 100 piece security bit set at Harbor Freight for only $9.99.  1/8 bit worked like a charm.  I can now replace the bulbs in the joystick.

Good deal! Glad I could help. I got the same set to take apart Tron joysticks. They use the same screws. If you're looking to replace any with new you can get ones for a Happ joystick from divemaster. Take care.
