Emulaxian - option for MAME
« on: May 12, 2003, 04:25:13 pm »
Hi Guys,

I'm now using Emulaxian as it is excelent - I've kind of read the manual but it is 69 pages long! but could not find one thing.

With MAME 32, I can set the following options to off

Show Disclaimer
Show Game Info

By unchecking them in the Interface options box.

When I run MAME32 via Emulaxian, these options are ignored.

Could anybody tell me how I can get Emulaxian to turn these options off? Please...

Cheers

the problem is that mame32 will ignore its settings whne you run it from the commandline.

That is why we always recommend using the normal windows commmandline version of mame with frontends and setup these options in mame.ini

but you can also let the fe set the commanlione options by adding this line to the commandline options for mame. you can do thati n the cfg utility or just put it directly in cfg\emulators\femamecloptions.txt:

10|mame|-skip_disclaimer -skip_gameinfo|

see the how to use commandline options section in fereadme to understand why this works  ;)
