usually toward the back right rear of the chasssis is your R,G,B,GND,H,V, inputs on the monitor.
if your using your own home made vga cable you must connect the above along with twisting all the grounds together and connecting them to your ground input on the chassis

www.ultimarc.comthey also make breakout cabes that are labled on each wire where you just connect the correct wire signals to the correct spot on monitor.
as for the vga box open it up and cut the "#6 white wire" and it puts it in 15K mode once you do that you loose the vga signal becuase you just spit it but it is possible to add a on/offtoggle switch to the cut white wire where you can still use the vgabox for vga tv and arcade 15K
