The guy who just broke the most prestigious record in the game is going to prison... soon. How exactly is that good for MLB?
It won't even matter that he is going to prison for nonbaseball related charges... the whole story will be about the gov't having proof he lied to a jury, and unfortunately, he lied about having abused steroids. When that comes out, incontrovertible proof that their all time homerun leader was a steroid abuser, it will hit MLB hard.
