RGB to NTSC converter works for Light Guns, right? (Jamma)
« on: November 15, 2007, 03:19:04 pm »
Been searching around for this answer.  I plan on building a Jamma cab with Lethal Enforcers.  Since I have a TV and no monitor the RGB to NTSC converter seems like a good option.   After I read about how Light Guns work, it seems like they should work no problem.  But, before I spend the moola I wanted to make sure.  Thanks

there may be a slight propagation delay due to signal processing . but, it "shouldn't " be a problem...
rgb is the more direct way of feeding the crt .  in a tv, composite video is broken down for seperate chroma and luminance processing.
which, is then combined to form an rgb drive signal for the crt...

pse post ur results for enquiring minds..

Well.. until I can find someone who has actually tried this with success, I can't see myself spending the money.  I'll let you know what I find out though.
