ok this game is HARD. even on easy mode. plus its old school so when you continue you start at the very beginning of the level.

i applaud anyone who has the patience to finish this game. i love contra and they did a kick butt job on this version but holy crap. sometimes you get wasted before you even know what is going on.

Aren't they all hard? hehe.

I could never beat the NES ones without "THE CODE".

I also loved contra hard corps for Genesis, but I never actually beat the game - as in the "best" ending. Of course that is up for debate - slipping thru a dimensional rift and having an ape as your queen was a pretty sweet ending. :laugh2:
