Well it looks like its sold out at 4 gamestops, toys r us, best buy, target, circuit city and walmart, so I guess I'll be playing TF2 for a few more days.
I really hate how you have to reserve a game if you want to buy it near launch day.
Where in the world do you live?
I only reserve a game when I am interested in a limited edition version of it, or expect that there will be shortages (Rock Band).
I have NEVER not been able to buy a game on launch day or even a couple days later.
Yeah, stores like Gamestop often run out (or they will claim to [I often suspect they just hold extras for the next day so as to try and trick people into thinking they need to pre-order]), but then they are usually small shops, and don't have the real estate to give to mass quantaties, but stores like Best Buy...
I was at Best Buy a little bit ago getting Shrek the 3rd on HD DVD, and they had a ton of copies of SMS.
