Might be a scam, but.....?
« on: May 07, 2003, 09:14:25 pm »
Just paging through ebay and found a whole bunch of listing out of waterloo, IA. Many differant sized monitors with no reserve, and most still at 1.00. It seems too good to be true. Lots of 19 and 21" monitors. Let me know your thoughts. they even come under warranty! Heres one example:

The shipping charges are $79! no wonder there's no reserve - AND they are refurbished (ie. USED).   It can't possibly cost that much to ship it, heck my d9200 is like 95lbs and only cost 45 bucks fedex ground.  :P

Worse than that, it was a grade C monitor.  The description describes severe screen burn, scratches, etc....

Not worth $80 to me  :-\

Just thought i'd mention it. there are about 30 other monitors through that seller too. Some better than others. I also found out if you pic them up they cost $75. Oh well....i still have my arcade monitor and a possible T.V. to convert.
