evil genius
« on: November 06, 2007, 03:24:56 am »

on the weekend i noticed this in eb games:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Evil_Genius_(game)

it caught my eye. just the whole cartoony parody of it. its being sold as a 'best seller series' and so was pretty cheap. i must say im really enjoying this (",). first pc game i really got into was age of empires and this has that same kind of god game feel to it. being more modern of course you can zoom right into the action. i am really loving being my underground lair, and kidnapping tourists. muahahahaha!

i have yet to rule the world, but patience my pets...

A good link.

Looks pretty cool... if there were a console version I'd definitely consider it.

I bought this game when it first came out. Extremely fun and strangely addicting. Also has a great soundtrack, one of my favorites from a game. I occasionally find myself laughing maniacally while playing it.  ;D

In the 'External links' section at the bottom o' that wiki, there's this info:

"A FULL demo version of the game can be downloaded, but it has a one-hour play time limit, after which there is an option to purchase the game for approximately $20. http://www.mofunzone.com/download_games/evil_genius.shtml"

This looks like fun and I might give it a go via that download if I can't find it on the shelf somewhere.  :)
