or buy/build a rgb to composite converter for using the standard video inputs,

and feed it a NTSC signal  ( 15.734khz horiz/59.9hz vert ,1vpp neg sync , 3.58mhz chroma)

Ok, so If I get a connector that fits I could connect it to a jamma harness with these pins?

25 - Red Input
26 - Green Input
27 - Blue input
30 - H.sync or composite sync

Is there something I'd need to do to the signal, voltage etc?

That wouldn't be a smart thing to do, since it is completely unneccesary, costs extra money and most importantly degrades the quality of the picture a lot.

Voltages: MAYBE you need some small resistors in series with the RGB inputs, but you can safely try them to see how it looks. You also need at least one ground pin.

From the pic it looks like this is a regular header connector. You should be able to get these and use some ribbon wire. OR you can get double pin connectors that will fit these and wire-up according.

Looking at the pinout, I wouldn't be surprised that you would need all the GNDs tied to ground.  Like pins 4,8,9,10,11,13,15,16.  Just a wild guess, though.

Good luck,
Rick

Well, not 100% sure about that special connector, but with SCART this isn't necessary. I only tied one GND up to the GND wire from my Galaxian cab and it works fine. The multiple grounds are there for if screened cable is used. Since cab builders didn't bother to use that it's fine like I did it.

That's cool.  I just thought that it may have been possible that those grounds weren't connected internally - evidently they are.
