Nanao MS8-26SU Degauss?
« on: October 25, 2007, 02:11:46 pm »

My degauss circuit is not running... and from what I've read it is a manual operation.

I have two red wires coming off the board not going anywhere... which is I assume the degauss button,

How does this connect....  to NO switch, to AC ?

A schematic would be great... but it looks like they are scarse.

Thanks,

northerngames

I have the same monitor and mine does not have a harness or wires to it and there is only 6 pins there and not 9 like in the picture you have.

I'm not sure where the deguass is on these either yet.

Hmm.

Do you have it connected in a cabinet and the degauss is working?

I looked at the circuit and it appears my thermistor is possibly open... and since I have no idea what part it is or a schematic, I decided to cut out the degauss circuit of an old Hantarex board that was cooked and hook it up.

Now, I get automatic degaussing.   8)

the schematic is there.  It connects to the AC line to degauss.
